Columbus Albany Plains Americus Ellaville ga Maternity Photographer Newborn

We are a Sumter County, Ga Maternity Photographer. Maternity sessions are a wonderful time to celebrate life and the amazing mom that is keeping that life safe and sound while they grow big enough to make their entrance into the world. We love the opportunity to help a mom see how beautiful she is during such a special time. Many moms feel nervous and self-conscious about having maternity portraits done and this is my chance to help you realize how gorgeous you really are and to see the beauty and sweetness in carrying that precious baby. Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 28 and 32 weeks gestation. This can vary based on the health and safety of mom and baby. If you have any concerns about preterm delivery, or any other concerns, then we will sometimes schedule your session a bit earlier.  Upon booking, you can review the various gowns that we have available for your use during your session. You are more than welcome to purchase your own gown for pictures, but, it certainly isn’t necessary. We will discuss various locations that are available and decide what will work best for you. Some locations may require an additional entrance fee and we are happy to send you a list of what those fees may be. While many of our maternity sessions include specialized maternity gowns, for the mother-to-be, we certainly can discuss other alternatives if you would like a more casual session. Spouses/partners and children are welcomed to take part in your session; it is, after all, a special time for the whole family and we want to make sure that they can be included, if you would like. There are many beautiful locations to choose from in Georgia. Flat Rock Park in Columbus is a popular location with a large variety of scenery to utilize. FDR State Park, located in Pine Mountain, is also a breathtaking location for maternity portraits. Callaway Gardens is also a beautiful choice in early spring. We will guide you on which locations have the most to offer during various seasons and sessions will, usually, take place during the evening for soft, golden light. Maternity sessions are typically scheduled on Friday or Sunday evenings, however, we can discuss your families schedule and there is some flexibility in arranging a date that will work for everyone.
