Meet Your Photographer

Hello!  I’m Jennifer – the lady behind the camera. I am honored that you are considering me to capture your families most precious memories. I am a studio-light photographer located in Hamilton, GA. I specialize in maternity, newborns and the first year milestones.

I have been a photographer for 7 years and, almost 4 years ago, I decided that newborns and littles had my heart and that is where my focus should be. Making that switch has been the best decision I’ve made for myself and my clients. I am a mother, sister, daughter, aunt, army wife, friend and photographer. My family is my everything. I have 2 boys that are both special needs and they are my biggest blessings.

As a custom, newborn portrait artist,  your little ones safety and comfort are my top priority. I have attended workshops, to ensure newborn safety and correct posing, by some of the most experienced newborn photographers in the country. I also, now, am a teacher and mentor for newborn photography. I aim to ensure that, all of those that I teach, learn the safest ways to work with the most precious, little humans. My approach to creating beautiful, newborn art to hang on your walls,  is natural and organic. I do a combination of capturing sweet, curly baby poses that take some gentle coaxing, to natural baby-led posing that focuses on your sweet babies face and the poses they naturally curl into at home. I love people and families. Tiny humans are my absolute favorite. Children under 1 year old give authentic expressions and those genuine emotions are one of the reasons I love photographing them so very much.

I love decorating and my home style tends to be a blend of rustic and modern. I could spend hours in an antique store, Pottery Barn and other home furnishing stores. I love coffee in the mornings, visiting with friends, snuggling in bed, with the windows open, during a thunderstorm and flowers. Yard work is my happy place. I love tending to my yard and flowers and I may, or may not, catch myself talking to my plants to encourage them to grow.

I look forward to hearing from you so we can discuss how, together, we can best plan to create beautiful wall art for your family.
